Latest UltraCSDB™ release continues to enhance efficiency, access and user experience
London, England, (09 February 2011) -- WebX Systems Ltd., the XML publishing, CSDB and workflow specialist, announced today the release of UltraCSDB™ 2.2.7 the comprehensive and powerful S1000D & ATA iSpec 2200 Common Source Database (CSDB).
New Features in v2.2.7 include:
Updated Stylesheets
- Updated integrated S1000D stylesheets and S1000D pack for UltraXML to V2.0.0
- Update integrated ATA 2200 CMM stylesheets and ATA 2200 CMM pack for UltraXML to V2.0.3
Active Directory and Single Sign On
- Active Directory and Single Sign On features are now integrated into the standard release.
- Added support for mixed user mode to allow for both mixed database system users and active directory users with the same installation.

Improved User Handling
- Deleting a system user now asks for a replacement user if the user is found to be in use within any projects.
- CSDB Administrator users are now listed in the allocate dialog boxes so that work can be allocated to any CSDB administrator.
- Added new supervisor role.
The supervisor project role allows the user full read only access to all objects (including those in work or requested assets from other users etc.) within the project and all audit trail events from all users.
- Added new feature to optionally copy project users and their roles and auto allocation workflows from another project when creating a new project.
- Email notifications are now cached in the server memory. Any emails that fail to send are now retried at a later time up to a maximum of 3 retries.
Additional ATA 2200 Support
- Added support for importing ATA 2200 CMMs as a single document instance (as opposed to its constituent parts) using the Import Data Modules dialog box.
- Added full workflow support for ATA 2200 CMMs as a single document instance including the creation of a new skeleton document.
- Added support for importing ATA 2200 Service Bulletins as a single document instance using the Import Data Modules dialog box.
- Added full workflow support for ATA 2200 Service Bulletins as a single document instance (as opposed to its constituent parts) including the creation of a new skeleton document.
General Enhancements
- Improved speed of batch downloading and uploading a large number of smaller files by sharing the communication channel instead of creating separate ones.
- Added a secondary warning dialog when a project manager or administrator tries to delete a data module, asset or publication module.
- Added Export Data Modules... feature to enable export of DMs (and associated assets) without needing to create a DDN.
- Added new check out dialog box which allows setting of the download attachments option in advance.
- Updated the Open->Asset function as follows:
When an asset is in the Work In Progress workflow state, the Open Asset function first checks if the asset already exists in the client's working directory, if not it is downloaded to the working directory and opened from there for editing.
Improved Multi-Select Operations
- Added support for checking out multiple data modules in one go by multi selecting the data modules (of the same workflow state) and checking out.
- Added support for checking out multiple assets in one go by multi selecting the assets (of the same workflow state) and selecting check out.
- Added support for checking in multiple data modules in one go by multi selecting the data modules (of the same workflow state) and selecting check in.
The same estimated dates and percentage complete values are applied to all selected data modules that are successfully checked in.
